Many, I dare say, most artists are their own worst enemies when it comes to the part comes. They interfere with the self-doubt that they set for themselves during the hearing. It’s like the old adage – if you set up to not so it was not as bad as you!
Change your attitude and your luck at the hearings casting time. Really, in a word, it’s that simple. However, this article does not have much value as I left it at that moment it would be! (But it’s still true!)
When Gabriel Byrne, admits successful film actor, he was not lucky enough to attend hearings until “one day I went through a door, but I’m working two jobs – both films on the same day -. Because I had my setting I changed was no longer in awe or fear of the hearing process. ”
In this series of articles about my new e-book, The Ultimate Audition Guide, you can learn how to demystify the hearing and to take the fear and anxiety throughout the process. The next time you hear is that you are a director or a casting director ready, willing and able, first class, full performance that you deserve the best chance to offer the game.
Now I can not infallible, an injection of talent or success, but there is so much you can do to improve your chances prepared, and I’ll help you get there.
You’d be surprised how many people have my way as a casting director who is not only “not ready” for the hearing process, but unfortunately think she deserves the part to be exceeded – despite their obvious lack of effort in preparation.
You’ve probably come across them, even if you have already auditioned. People think of who she auditioned, but they get to the part as they look, how they flirt with the director, the fact that they always played before the main based etc.etc.
DUH! WRONG!
If you read this, so I guess you do not clearly understand each of them (or maybe you are a reformed criminal past), and you’re on the right track.
Before proceeding, I want you to promise me one. I do not love you audition – and I strongly recommend to as many auditions, because at the end of the day of the audition winner is a “numbers game” (more on that later).
The promise that I would do is as follows:
If your next audition will not only do your best, do your best. This means putting into practice everything you learn in the process. Make any changes you need to change where you are, what you practice in the practice.
